Harris Data Storage, Inc. was founded in 1997.

​

With an office in a 12,500 SqFt facility, the business was located in Lincoln, Nebraska off North 48th Street.  Within a couple months business had grown to well over 50,000 SqFt of warehousing and from 1 location to 3 in four months.

​

Within 5 years HDS was serving over 35,000 boxes of sensitive record documents and $650 million annually in manufacturing and distribution products for partners locally and around the world.

         CTPAT   (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism)

July of 2008, Harris Data began to operate from a security level that they had not performed from in the past. Although, HDS had always considered security a top priorty, that level increased to new heights. 

​

In partnership with a client/partner, HDS started it's wing of Security services.  Harris Data & Security. Harris Data & Security operated and performed the tasked of securing locations on a client need basis.  The first partnership was made possible because of the local need to secure items being shipped to and from HDS, from around the world. "CTPAT". This program operates as a joint operation with US Customs and Border Protection, for securing global supply chains and facilitating legitimate cargo and conveyances.

The securing of locations, of commerce and access to and from, became the process of the day.  This process was very detailed, while still maintaining the highest levels of Security and professionalism.

​

               In 2009 HDS got more involved in the Transportation of product.

​

​

HDS Transit was born.  Initially, local deliveries were the need of the day. That need grew to transferring product throughout the USA for partners in 2011.  HDS Transit operating as the Transportation arm of Harris Data Storage, has partners to date, in 26 states in the United States along with Canada and Japan.  Our fleet of 5 trucks seem to be growing quarterly.

Since 2012 HDS has provided service in 6 additional locations (Omaha, Ne., Shawnee Mission, Ks., Houston, Tx., Commerce City, Co., Phoenix, Az. and Los Angeles, Ca).

In 2015, management moved forms of operations to the SW region of the United States, to further organize it's growth.

In 2016, Harris Security and Protective Services (HS&PS) was born.  HS & PS, is known as a full services Security officer's operation. www.hsandps.com 

The true incorporation of security protection to our services was an easy move, since the main function from the very beginning of Harris Data Storage, was the maintaining of security, during the chain of transfer with documents and valuable materials. Security, was one of our main and absolute goals in service. 

"Efficiently, Effectively, Affordably and Securely".

Our relationship with US Customs and the training received was and still is essential in our Security footprint and activities.
